Mr. Ninh arranged a wonderful trip for us from Saigon to the Cai Rang floating market. I tried to arrange a day trip to Cai Rang with other more reviewed Mekong delta tour groups with no luck. They would only go to Cai Be in one day, which is not the same as Cai Rang. If your so lucky to be in the Mekong Delta, then my feeling was we need to see the real floating market. Mr. Ninh was very easy to communicate via email and came to our hotel the day before to collect our payment. ..

Day 1: Chau Doc – Can Tho ( dinner)

Commence your 2 days Mekong River Tour Chau Doc Ho Chi Minh City with Vietnam travel guide and driver will pick you up in Chau Doc and drive to Can Tho for check into the hotel on arrival.

After refresh, you will have a delicious local dinner at the the Riverside Restaurant.

You will then be free to walk around the night market for the city life in Can Tho or back to the hotel for the night stay.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh City (breakfast, and lunch)

After breakfast, you will take a boat ride along The Mighty Mekong River up to the Cai Rang floating market to experience real River Life of locals in the region to observe the locals buying, selling, bargaining and exchanging goods among their boats. Why not practice your bargaining skills here! Experience the tranquility of life in rural areas, the Monkey bridge (if tide permit).

We will be back to the pier for the drive to Vinh Long. On arrival, we will go on the boat ride Vinh Long to Cai Be with great Mekong River life discovery along the waterway with daily life o the local just happening along the River.

On arrival in Cai Be, we will stop for local lunch break before we keep going to discover the island and the area. Then wander into the villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

You will then go on a boat ride to the island through small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a family business to see how locals make coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn. Keep boating to the other island to visit the traditional house dating 18 century, take a walk around peaceful fruit garden. Our a/c vehicle transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. You will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at an estimated time of arrival at 4:30pm.
